Industry Councils

In the latest edition of Metal, the call has gone out for all elected positions in the union for the forthcoming union elections. Unfortunately, we missed out a notice calling for expressions of interest for appointed positions to the industry councils. If you wish to be a member of the industry council which looks after your industry send an expression of interest to the National Secretary, EPMU, P O Box 14-277, Kilbirnie, Wellington or e-mail us@epmu.org.nz and put “Industry council expression of interest” in the subject line. Appointments to industry councils are made by the union’s national executive.

Aviation – April 28-29, Auckland
Electrocomms – March 26-27, Wellington
Energy and Mining – April 16-17, Christchurch
Food – June 16-17, venue TBC
Manufacturing – March 10-11, Auckland
Plastics – May 19-20, Auckland
Postal & Logistics – TBC
Print & Media – April 1-2, Wellington
Timber – April 22 & November 17-18, Rotorua

Public Services & Infrastructure – February 26-27, Wellington
