The Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union launches the first of 25 nationwide Work Rights Wages Drive rallies at 1pm tomorrow at Addington Raceway in Christchurch.
The rallies are part of the EPMU's Work Rights campaign which promotes stronger work rights and higher wages.
The EPMU will also announce its "Work Rights Benchmark" at the event which lays out the minimum standards the union would expect from next year's government if New Zealanders' wages are expected to grow.
The EPMU is New Zealand's largest private sector union, representing 50,000 members across eleven industries.
